Wilson PK’s latest collection is inspired by Cubism, the gentrification of artist communities within London and the social hierarchy of the city from his volunteering experience at Crisis homless shelter .
PK looked at the clash between the modern and the forever imposing skyscraper juxtaposed with East London’s council estates. Asymmetric silhouettes, innovative knits and textures play with the idea of negative space in architecture and the contrast in the cityscape.
The collection features statement dresses, jackets, knitwear and skirts in leather, organza and power knit with textural details including foiling, 3D printed beading and rubber mixed lambs wool.
Key colours include black, pearlized white, pale blue, emerald green, pink and navy accented by primary colours that are clashed with structured monotones.
